From car wash business to freelance realtor, electronics salesman to Forever Living MLM, Free lance car salesman/car dealership and even bank clerking my path has been anything but conventional. Yet, every venture taught me resilience, negotiation, and an unshakable belief in the allure of luxury.
As a boy, I was enchanted by the allure of brilliance—the hypnotic sparkle of diamonds, the sleek curves of luxury cars, the towering elegance of waterfront mansions, and the majestic glide of yachts against golden sunsets. The world’s top achievers fascinated me; their stories of ambition and triumph became my bedtime tales. I hoarded magazine cutouts like sacred scrolls, sketched intricate jewelry designs in the margins of my school art book, and painted portraits of icons who seemed to exist in a realm where excellence was the only currency.
That childhood obsession with rarity, beauty, and the extraordinary never faded—it evolved. Today, I journey across continents, scaling rugged cliffs and sifting through riverbeds, chasing the whispers of the earth’s most elusive treasures. Every gemstone I uncover carries the weight of a dreamer’s past and the shimmer of a conqueror’s future. What began as wide-eyed wonder now fuels a legacy: turning fascination into empire, one rare stone at a time
Sourcing in East Africa
My journey began in Tanzania and Kenya, where I learned directly from miners—digging into the earth’s secrets, feeling the raw energy of uncut Rubies, Tanzanites, Sapphires, Rhodolites, Tourmalines, Aquamarines, Tsavorites, and other Garnets. There’s nothing like holding a rough stone, knowing it will transform into a masterpiece.
Global Hunts
From the sapphire mines of Madagascar to Colombian emerald dealers, I’ve built a network of trusted suppliers. The thrill? Discovering a rare, top-tier gem before anyone else does.
The Atelier in Nairobi
Partnering with master cutters, I ensure each stone is shaped to perfection. Every facet must capture light—and desire.
A master cutter does not shape stone—they liberate destiny.
For eons of years, the Earth forged its treasures in darkness: rubies born from the fire of continental collisions, sapphires baptized in metamorphic crucibles, diamonds crystallized under the weight of time itself. These stones are not mere minerals—they are celestial heirlooms, waiting for human hands to awaken their soul.
Respect the Rough
– Angles must be exact, facets flawless. Light must dance, not stumble.
– Greatness demands sacrifice. A true master prefers 10 carats of fire over 20 of mediocrity.
– A gem has a perfect form hidden within—the cutter’s genius lies in revealing it.
When science, artistry, and patience unite, magic ignites. A well-cut gem doesn’t sparkle—it breathes, radiating the primal energy of its creation and the mastery of its sculptor. This is where geology meets genius, where nature’s patience meets human perfection.
To hold such a stone is to cradle a billion years of destiny, refined by human hands into a thing of wonder.”

Purveyor of Earth’s Rarest Visions
Luxury is a Story – Clients don’t just buy gems; they buy heritage, rarity, and a piece of the earth’s magic.
A Rarity Unearthed
Secured a remarkable parcel of Tanga Rhodolites—a mesmerizing spectrum of purple-pink hues, glowing like the last embers of an African lotus sunset. These are not ordinary garnets; they are nature’s fleeting masterpieces, from a deposit as ephemeral as it was extraordinary.
A Return to the Source
Having explored this region last year (as chronicled on my Instagram), I knew these stones were special. The mine’s yield was rich—but like all great treasures, it vanished almost as quickly as it appeared. The specimens you see here are a blend of last year’s finds and the final remnants of this elusive pocket.
The Science of Brilliance
Exceptional Hardness – Tougher than typical Rhodolite, yet identical in chemistry.
Elevated Refractive Index (RI) – A subtle but critical margin, enhancing their fire.
A Kaleidoscope of Color – From deep magenta to soft peach and baby pink, each stone is a chromatic marvel when faceted.
Luvici Bespoke Jewelry – Sketching a new jewelry design of the Tanga Rhodolites inspired by Art Deco motifs. This will be added to Our Gem Vault, the Rêverie Collection.
This district is a garnet hunter’s paradise, producing both Malaia Garnets (with their warm pinkish red flashes and peachy glows) and these Rhodolites—some of the most saturated reddish purples in the garnet family.
When polished, these gems transform into living light—their hues shifting with every tilt of the hand. A true testament to East Africa’s hidden wonders.
Stones like these remind us why we chase the earth’s secrets—because sometimes, just sometimes, it rewards us with perfection.
To curate the world’s most exceptional gems and craft legacies in crystal and gold.
